One season ago, they were raining threes, winning games and taking championships.
Their 10th South Central Conference crown and their 12th regional championship as the Comets to be precise.
But tonight a new season begins at Nokomis with a mix of experienced and varsity newcomers.
“We have a really good mix of some returning guys that saw a ton of minutes in Kaleb Gardner, Cale Ackerman, and Nick Grull along with a lot of good young players that saw good JV minutes last year, JV class,” began GHS coach Todd Cantrill. “We’re in a really good spot so far as that goes.” For more information see the November 21, 2023 edition of The Greenville Advocate.
