The GHS girls participated in the 39th annual Comet Relays on April 21 at Don Stout Field.
Nashville won with 98 points while Pana took second with 68. Hillsboro, Vandalia, and the Lady Comets rounded out the field.
In the 4×200 meter relay, GHS took second with a time of 2 minutes, 1.5 seconds with the team of Mia Bellegante, Tiffany Rohr, Tessa Neely, and Rylin DeBlois. Nashville won the event with a time of 1:54.1.
In the 4×100 relay GHS finished third with the same team that participated in the 800 meter relay. The Lady Comets ran a time of 55.9 seconds. Again Nashville took the title in 53.5 seconds. For more information see the April 25, 2023 edition of The Greenville Advocate.
