The Simple Room received a donation of $10,000 from a GU Alumni, and current NFL player Nicholas Morrow. While he was a student at Greenville University Morrow volunteered at The Simple Room, “We eagerly anticipate the positive impact this collaboration will bring to our community in the months ahead. Investing in our children today ensures a brighter future for tomorrow. Thank you, Nicholas Morrow, for your commitment to The Simple Room and the
future of Bond County residents,” said Laura Stine, Executive Director of The Simple Room.
The Simple Room plans to use the money to bolster the after-school program that serves 40 young people every weekday.
