When you’re facing the once-beaten, number two national seed in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament, you’d better be on all game long.

Unfortunately for the Greenville University women’s volleyball team they started slowly and despite a strong finish could not overcome Wisconsin-Oshkosh and were defeated by the host school three games to zero to end their season on Nov. 16.

Oshkosh, now 37-1, won the regional over LaVerne (Calif.) to advance to the NCAA Division III National Tournament in Claremont, Calif beginning on Nov. 29. They will play Northwestern (Minn.) in the opener. For more information see the November 21, 2023 edition of The Greenville Advocate.
