The Greenville Public Library board held their annual meeting Thursday. The board approved the minutes of the May meeting and the May bills for payment. Library director Jo Keillor reported that she would send the books to the city on Friday for the annual audit.

There was no Friends of The Public Library report, but the group was scheduled to sell brownies and ice cream that evening at the Municipal Band concert. The board discussed creating a release form for library volunteers. Keillor reported that the summer has been hectic so far. The Saturday before Memorial Day, all library employees were out of town with the exception of Keillor. Nearly 50 people attended the library within two hours.
