It didn’t rain. It wasn’t cold. A happy crowd enjoyed the first 2023 Farmers’ Market on the square last Saturday. The Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting to make the market “official.”

The busiest vendor was Donut Dollies Mini Donuts. They created varieties of donuts all morning and always had 20 or more waiting in line. Other food and drink suppliers had a brisk business as well, selling decorated cupcakes, popcorn, lemonade, pecans, honey. Buyers had lots of opportunities to purchase plants and hangers, handmade furniture and jewelry, and lovely resin trinkets.
