With Mulberry Grove’s win last Saturday in Greenville at the annual Egyptian-Illini Conference Tournament and the Aces regular season crown also in hand, several members of the team were named to the EI all-conference team.
Aces ace pitcher Lily Johnson was named the conference MVP. At Saturday’s softball festival, she threw one no-hitter and combined with Lola Johnson for another as MG outscored their opposition 32-0.
Speaking of Lola, she was also named to the all-tourney team as was Taylor Stone and Jenni Mezo.
The remaining members of the squad include Macee Rodman and Madison Wojcik of CHBC, Addi Adams of Martinsville, Olivia Carroll from Ramsey, and Olivia Baker of St. Elmo-Brownstown.
