At the Sept. 5 meeting of the Mulberry Grove village board, Amy Wright was appointed by the mayor and approved by the board. Wright says she is looking forward to her vote counting in the positive changes she wants to see in Mulberry Grove. Wright will serve on the board until the next election, when she will have to run for her seat.

The board approved the minutes from the August meeting along with the financial report and the bills to be paid.

Brad Criner gave the zoning report and started a discussion about a property that could potentially be rezoned as commercial in order to accommodate a food truck.
