At their monthly meeting, the library board approved the minutes of the Feb. 23 special meeting, the Finance and Records Committee meeting, and the Publicity and Promotions Committee meeting.

The board approved the payment of the February 2023 bills as presented.

The Friends of the Public Library reported that current membership is sitting at 27, down from last year; 19 members have not yet renewed their membership. The group’s current balance is $940.82 from book sales and membership renewals.

Their fundraiser is set for April 11, a Tuesday, at Joe’s Pizza and they plan to have t-shirts printed before then. The Chamber of Commerce will put some of the group’s events on the community calendar. The group plans to sell cinnamon rolls at the library’s book sale.
