The Greenville High School tennis team continued their winning ways Tuesday afternoon in Mt. Vernon as they beat the Rams 6-3 to run their match record to 3-0 in the early season.
Comets Carter Manhart, Ivan Powell and Jason Nessl all won their matches in straight sets.
Manhart beat Liam Bullard 6-2, 6-3 while Powell beat Carter Shook 6-1, 6-1. Nessl beat Carter Hertenstein 6-1, 6-1.
Tayshaun Wells took a comeback, three-set win over Ian Caruthers 2-6, 6-2, 10-5. For more information see the April 7, 2023 edition of The Greenville Advocate.
