Pocahontas K-9 Officer Frank celebrated his third birthday Saturday. There were food and craft vendors on hand to help with the festivities.
Frank, a Belgian Shepherd, and handler, Officer Angie Garson gave several demonstrations of the kinds of situations Frank is trained to respond to. Frank is trained in narcotic detection, tracking and trailing, and article searches. He also, Garson said, does apprehension, otherwise known as “bite work.”
