At the beginning of the season, there weren’t a whole lot of people who had the Lady Comets winning the SCC conference championship on their bingo cards.
But after two huge wins over rivals Vandalia and Hillsboro to wind up the season, GHS found themselves at the top of the heap with an 8-1 conference record. The Vandals, Toppers and Pana all finished at 7-2 in the 10-team league.
