Greenville’s girls track team participated in the Tri-Meet at Carlinville on April 4. Virden (North Mac) won with 80 points while Carlinville had 73. Pawnee finished with 30 points while GHS amassed 22 on the windy spring day.
Track events:
Emma Haller took seventh in the 100 meters with a time of 15.9 seconds. Emma Crawford won with a 13.7.
In the 200, Mia Bellegante ran 31.5, good for third while Tessa Neely ran 32.7, good for sixth. Kaelyn Swift of North Mac ran a 28.9 to win. For more information see the April 11, 2023 edition of The Greenville Advocate.
