Tamalco Christian Church hosts Good Friday Easter egg hunt

The Tamalco Christian Church hosted their annual Good Friday Easter egg hunt on April 7 at 10:30 a.m., in Tamalco. There was an attendance of around 78 with fifty-plus being kids ranging in months to teens. The morning started off in the church sanctuary with Ski Lirios welcoming everyone. Although excitement was in the air, the kids sat still as Lirios asked questions about the true meaning of Easter. She read from Matthew 28 and then the congregation joined in singing “Jesus Loves Me”. Before the kids were divided into age groups Pastor Glenn Kreider invited everyone who did not have plans on Easter Sunday (April 9) to join the church at 10 a.m. for the flowering of the cross and then regular services at 10:30 a.m. For more information see the April 11, 2023 edition of The Greenville Advocate.
