What a season opener!
Ramsey-Mulberry Grove’s Olivia Carroll hit the game-winning bucket with 2.6 left to lift the Rams to a 32-30 win over Sandoval-Odin Monday night in Ramsey.
“The girls played well,” said RMG coach Misty Mezo. “They played really good defense We had too many turnovers but for the first game they played really well.”
Jenny Mezo led RMG in scoring with eight points including a pair of threes and four steals while Lillie Eddy and Olivia Carroll both had six points as did Lola Johnson.
