At the November 7 meeting of the Bond County Board, the county levy, budget, and appropriations ordinance were approved for 2023-24. The measures were passed with only one no vote from Wes Pourchot.

At the beginning of the meeting, the minutes of the October 17 regular meeting, and the November 2 special meeting were approved, along with the bills dated November 2, 2023.

During public comment, several people were present to voice their concerns about the state of Pokey Rd. The concerns raised were that with winter coming up, the road would be too slick to drive on if it snowed. One solution that was proposed was to re-oil and chip the road. There was no official action taken by the board, but they will be looking into the matter. For more information see the November 10, 2023 edition of The Greenville Advocate.
