Pocahontas girls basketball team comfortably defeated Mulberry Grove and St. Rose.
Earlier this season, the seventh and eighth grade teams won their respective age grouping at the Vandalia tournament. They have turned that momentum into an epic start to each team’s campaigns. The eighth graders are now 9-0 and show no signs of slowing down. The seventh graders are no slouches either, as they boast a respectable 7-1 record.
