Mulberry Grove woman charged with five felony counts

Lisa R. Goodson-Bryant of Mulberry Grove was charged with five felony counts involving a weapon.

The first count charges that on or around June 25 of this year, Goodson-Bryant committed the offense of Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Weapon. The charge states that Goodson-Bryant knowingly carried in a vehicle an uncased and loaded pistol that was accessible to her while she was not on her own property or in her own home.

The second count charges that Goodson-Bryant committed the offense of Possession of a Weapon by a Felon on or around June 25, 2023. She had been convicted of a felony in St. Louis, Missouri.

The third count charges that on or around June 25, 2023, Goodson-Bryant had in her possession less than five grams of a substance containing methamphetamine.

The fourth count charges that Goodson-Bryant committed the offense of Reckless Discharge of a Firearm. The charge states that Goodson-Bryant discharged the firearm in a reckless manner at her home while another person was present.

The final count charges that Goodson-Bryant committed the offense of Aggravated Assault when she knowingly discharged the pistol toward another person.
