The DeMoulin museum honored two long-time employees with a memorial display and revealed a classic uniform from the 2012 Super Bowl last Saturday. Amelia Mugavero, Fox 2 St. Louis, emceed short programs for each dedication.

“Tools of the Seamstress,” a large spool of thread and needle, bears the plaque, “In Memory of Patsy Koonce and Frances Ulmer.” Koonce passed away in April of this year after sewing for DeMoulin for 16 years and leading the 4-H sewing workshop last summer. Her granddaughter, Kaylee Garrison, thanked the museum for the honor. Museum director John Goldsmith said “Patsy always had a passion for teaching people to sew.” Ulmer worked as a uniform inspector for 25 years.
