That was the reaction everyone had when they read my claim last week that a 20-meal punch card cost only $20! It’s $70—$3.50 per meal. I try to keep my math difficulties hidden, but sometimes people find out.
Today and tomorrow I’m eating at the Senior Center: chicken tenders and then pork roast and gravy. As I enjoyed my meals last week, I wondered about seniors who aren’t as mobile as I, who have serious health concerns, or who don’t have transportation.
