On Wednesday the Panthers traveled to Spalding University to take on the Golden Eagles and outscored their opponent in every quarter to win 77-62.
The first quarter was back and forth between the two opponents until Greenville went on a 7-0 run going into the second quarter. The Panthers extended their run to 11-0 early in the second quarter.
They then extended their lead to 10 before halftime as they were up 35-25.
The third quarter continued the back and forth battle, but the Panthers slightly increased their edge over the Golden Eagles to 12 points. For more information see the February 17, 2023 edition of The Greenville Advocate.
