Bond County State’s Attorney cases

The following cases were prosecuted by Bond County State’s Attorney, Dora J. Mann:

 On Jan. 26, 2023, James F. Dean, II, was re-sentenced due to a violation of probation on two separate cases from 2020. After a contested sentencing hearing, Mr. Dean was sentenced to 75 months with the Illinois Department of Corrections (IDOC), followed by one year mandatory supervised release for two counts of Child Pornography. In a separate case, he was sentenced to 30 months with the IDOC, followed by six months mandatory supervised release for one count of Harmful Material and one count of Grooming. Both sentences will run concurrently.

 On Feb. 1, 2023, Riley D. Manuel, III, was re-sentenced due to a violation of probation on an Aggravated Domestic Battery charge from Dec. 2, 2020. After a contested sentencing hearing, Riley D. Manuel, III, was sentenced to five years with the IDOC, followed by four years mandatory supervised release.

 On Feb. 1, 2023, Tabatha A. Cornstubble, was resentenced due to a violation of probation on an Unlawful Methamphetamine Possession charge from Jan. 20, 2021. Cornstubble admitted to the petition to revoke and was re-sentenced to two years and six months with the IDOC, followed by six months mandatory supervised release.

 On Feb. 7, 2023, Erin T. Bone of Vandalia, pleaded guilty to the charge of Bringing Contraband into a Penal Institution. This incident occurred on April 8, 2021. She was sentenced to four years with the IDOC, followed by one year mandatory supervised release. The charge of Unlawful Methamphetamine Possession was dismissed pursuant to plea.
