According to reports, 22 people were taken to the hospital as a result of a mass overdose at the Graham Correctional Center in Hillsboro.
AP reports that employees of the prison were hospitalized Wednesday after they “became sickened while responding to one or more inmates suffering severe discomfort, according to a prison spokesperson and a prison employee’s union representative.” Twenty-two staff members were transported to area hospitals and an unknown number of inmates were given medical treatment.
