At the November meeting of the Bond County Board, representatives from Scheffel Boyle were present to go over the 2022 audit results with the board. The county was given a “clean opinion” meaning there were no significant findings.

The board began the meeting by approving the November 7 meeting minutes, along with the monthly bills and county clerk’s report.

The board then opened up the meeting to public comment and several members of the public raised concerns about the state of different culverts and a bridge in the county. The board is looking into the matter to see what the best course of action is. For more information see the November 28, 2023 edition of The Greenville Advocate.
