Sometimes it makes sense to put games in the perspective of other sports.

Greenville University’s home football game Friday night at Don Stout Field is a good example.

If football were basketball, visiting Kalamazoo College went on a 23-3 run over an 18-minute stretch to take a big 30-16 lead early in the fourth quarter on Greenville University then held on for a 33-23 win over the Panthers.

The win lifted the Michigan schools record to 5-4 overall on the season while GU fell to 4-5 overall. Greenville finishes their season Saturday at Stout Field against Crown College from St. Bonifacius, Minnesota. For more information see the November 7, 2023 edition of The Greenville Advocate.
