The Greenville Farmers Market is over for 2023, but it went out with a bang. Fifty vendors showed and sold their wares, with several doing better than they had anticipated: Doll’s Orchard sold out of apples and had to get more from the orchard in Pocahontas; Granny Rox Kettle Pops kept running out of popcorn and had to get more; Dirty Dan’s Meats sold nearly 100 pounds of meat and used his entire supply of his signature brisket.
Those who counted the crowds estimated 2,000 people on the square, a great ending to a great season. For more information see the October 10, 2023 edition of The Greenville Advocate.
