Core Community nears funding goal and starts new class

Blue Jays baseball heads to Regionals semifinals

The GJHS Blue Jays baseball team defeated Vandalia, 10-0, to secure a spot in the IESA 3A regionals semifinals in Effingham. The team had a very successful regular season. Heading into the tournament, the team finished the regular season with a 13-4-2 record. They earned the third seed, drawing a matchup against the sixth-seed Vandals.
