Monday, Sandy Bellagante, Core Community liaison, proudly moved the fund raising thermometer on the courthouse lawn up another $10,000 to $65,000. The two-year goal is $150,000, so they have nearly reached the $75,000 they need to fund a new class. They are still seeking donations.

That new class began Monday as well. A group of new and continuing students, recent grads, and facilitators all gathered for supper at the First Baptist Church. Newcomers were there to start their journey out of poverty. For more information see the September 15, 2023 edition of The Greenville Advocate.
