Evie Johnson, a 2023 graduate of Greenville High School, has announced her intention to be a part of the women’s tennis program at Greenville University beginning this fall.
“I have to say it’s really exciting,” she said. “Not only am I taking classes I am really enjoying but the whole schedule is different than high school. I’m really excited to play on the GU tennis team because I’ve watched them play over the past couple of years and they’re very supportive with a great family dynamic.
“I’m also excited to have coach (Brett) Brannon and the coaches teach me some new skills that I haven’t been taught before.” For more information see the July 25, 2023 edition of The Greenville Advocate.
