On Saturday, April 22, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., The Bond County Health Department will provide for free and anonymous disposal of unneeded medications, sponsored by Prairie Counseling Center, Bond County Recovery Council, Greenville Police Department, Bond County Sheriff’s Department and the Drug Enforcement Administration.
For more than a decade, the event has helped Americans easily rid their homes of unneeded medications — those that are old, unwanted, or expired — that too often become a gateway to addiction. For more information see the April 7, 2023 edition of The Greenville Advocate.
