At a New Faces and State of the State meeting on Tuesday at the SMART Center, local business owners and city officials gave updates on recent changes or events. Senator Jason Plummer attended the meeting to give an update on the state of the state, particularly the SAFE-T Act, which goes into effect on Jan. 1, 2023.
