The GU Panthers traveled to Fontbonne on Feb.18 and came from behind in the fourth quarter to secure a 78-71 win.
Early in the matchup, Fontbonne took a slim lead over Greenville, but the Panthers were able to tie the game at 16 apiece before the second quarter. Savanna Powell-Goodman tallied eight points in the first quarter for Greenville.
The second quarter was similar to the first until the Panthers went on a 10-3 run to end the first half. For more information see the February 21, 2023 edition of The Greenville Advocate.
