They battled through some tough conditions, but in the end, they just couldn’t pull it off.
In their final game of the rain-shortened Purple Panther Classic in Litchfield Saturday, Greenville played to their fourth draw in regular time (in nine games).
This time they couldn’t pull it out of the hat as they fell for the first time this season in penalty kicks — 4-3 — to Hillsboro. The game was tied 0-0 at the end of regulation. For more information see the April 4, 2023 edition of The Greenville Advocate.
