Paws in the Park returned to its pre-Covid fun Saturday at Double J Doggie Play and Stay. Double J owner Jason Prichard opened up his giant side yard and dock diving pool to help raise money for the Bond County Humane Society. BCHS director Rachel Hundsdorfer said “without the help from Double J and many other volunteers, we could not have pulled this off. Last year we had to cancel because we couldn’t get enough help. Final numbers aren’t in yet, but BCHS raised more than $11,000 before expenses to provide care and medical services for dogs and cats.
