Mark your calendars for Saturday, Aug. 19, to help support the Sons of Service annual Honor Flight Ride. The ride begins at the Keyesport American Legion with sign-up from 10 a.m.-noon. All vehicles are welcome on this 100-mile ride that includes stops at five local VFWs and/or American Legions, returning to the Keyesport American Legion around 6 p.m. Before returning to Keyesport, at around 5 p.m., bikes and jeeps will have the opportunity to ride across the Carlyle Dam being led by WWII POW, Vince Rolves.
