Enjoy them while they’re young. I used to think that meant your kids. Now I realize it means your hips and knees. Even my fake knee is getting grumpy.
I missed the deadline for Tuesday’s paper, so my musings are a bit late. We’re about halfway through July and it’s hot! The Kingsbury pool has special noon swim times for adults. No kids splashing from noon–1 p.m.
I hope you will head to the Farm Heritage Museum this weekend and see “Frozen Kids.” This musical takes just 30 minutes and includes 60 area youngsters. Some of your grandkids are probably in the cast. Saturday they will do a show at 6 p.m.; Sunday it’s shows at 2 and 6 p.m. The show does’t have a formal admission charge; instead they rely on donations to cover their costs. That way everyone can see it. So give as you can, because some can’t.
