The Comets took on South Central at GCS Stadium on Thursday and lost 8-0. On Friday, they traveled to Pana and won 12-2.
At GCS Stadium the Comets were unable to get the bats rolling early as South Central jumped out to a 2-0 lead after the first inning.
Still down 2-0 in the fourth, Ryan Harnetiaux reached base with a single, followed by a two-out single from Edward Jurgena, but both of them were left stranded on base.
