The Shoal Creek Fire Protection District held their awards banquet Saturday evening. Last year, the district responded to a total of 68 calls. There were five fires in their district. Mutual aid was given eight times to other districts. With the inclusion of mutual aid, there were 28 fires that the district provided or received help on.
