During a special program at the DeMoulin Museum on Monday, Amelia Mugavero spoke about her time as a baton twirler for the University of Illinois Marching Illini band and her journey to her current career in broadcasting. Mugavero currently works for Fox 2 in St. Louis as the morning traffic anchor.
Mugavero, originally from Texas, says she loves the Midwest and considers it a second home. She said she believes in divine intervention and God, and that her path here was very unconventional. For more information see the February 24, 2023 edition of The Greenville Advocate.
