A year ago, the DeMoulin Museum hosted a sewing workshop in conjunction with Bond County 4-H. It was so successful that the museum received an Award of Merit for Community Partnership from the Illinois Association of Museums.
So it made sense to do it again. Cheralee Vohlken of the Bond County extension office and DeMoulin Museum curator John Goldsmith coordinated the event; the University of Illinois extension service provided machines, and area sewers raided their fabric stashes for supplies.
