GHS tennis competes against top notch competition

The end of last week was a busy time for the Greenville High School girls tennis squad as they competed in a quad at Troy (Triad) and the Annie Invitational in Centralia.

At the Annie Invitational on Saturday, the Lady Comets continued to play against solid competition.

In No. 1 singles play, Ellie Schaufelberger beat her opponent from Vandalia 10-0 then lost to Lisa Tomasi of Fairfield 6-2, 6-1. Tomasi is a foreign exchange student from Trento, Italy. For more information see the September 26, 2023 edition of the Greenville Advocate.
