The Lady Blue Jays softball team continues gaining momentum, defeating Pana, 15-5.
Softball may be a new sports program for Greenville Junior High School, but that hasn’t discouraged the team from balling out. After Pana got a 3-1 lead in the first inning, it was all Lady Blue Jays from there. The team’s offense fired on all cylinders, putting up 13 unanswered runs.
From the second to the fourth, Greenville took full control. During the fourth inning alone, the team amassed a staggering 10 runs. It was another dominant team display this season from the laser-focused squad. For more information see the August 11, 2023 edition of The Greenville Advocate.
