Today through Sunday, visitors to the American Farm Heritage Museum can take a peek into life when our great-grandparents were active as part of the 19th Farm Heritage Days.
Each year, the AFHM features a tractor style. Many collectors bring the year’s style to display, although all varieties are welcome. This year it’s Prairie Orphans and Oddballs. Prairie tractors are unusually large machines, usually used by those with lots of acreage. The Orphan and Oddball category is for everything else. Some were machines that weren’t made long, didn’t remain popular, or are quirky in some way. For more information see the July 28, 2023 edition of The Greenville Advocate.
