The Lady Comets are on a 12-inning scoreless streak after burying Alton (Marquette) 10-0 in five innings Wednesday afternoon at the GHS softball diamond.
GHS only had seven hits, but was the recipient of seven freebies including three walks, three Marquette errors and a hit-by-pitch while getting a two-hit performance from Anna Turner in the circle.
