Bond County Board announces opening on Public Building Commission

The Bond County Board announced at their Oct. 3 meeting, that there is an opening on the Public Building Commission due to the retirement of Tom Morgan.

The meeting began with the approval of the Sept. 19 regular meeting and the bills dated Oct. 2.

The Good Energy Resolution was approved; this locks in their energy rate. The board also approved a levy request from the 377 Board at 0.04%.

The Keyesport Fire Protection District and Smithboro Fire Protection District had the use of their ARPA allowance approved.

Tax deed resolutions 09-19-23-01 and 09-19-23-02 were approved.

The member to represent the County Board on the Bond County Health Department Board was changed; the representative will now be Jeff Rehkemper.

The next meeting will be on Oct. 17 at 7 p.m.
