The Kingsbury Clippers swim team season ended on July 22 at the Kaskaskia Swim League Conference meet held at Columbia, where the team came in third of four.
The four teams participating at the conference this year ranked as follows:
• first place, Columbia Hurricanes
• second, Waterloo Piranhas
• third, Kingsbury Clippers
• fourth, Sparta Country Club Sharks.
Individual awards went to Clippers teammates, Ian Walker for Kaskaskia Conference 11-12 boy high point champion and Grace Tarasuik for 9-10 girls high point champion.
A $400 scholarship was awarded to Sam Wagner for the 2023 Kaskaskia swim league scholarship winner.
