Sandy Bellegante, the new Core community community liaison, proudly performed one of her first duties last Friday as she raised the thermometer total for the year’s fundraising from $30,000 to $37,000.
The group’s annual budget is $75,000.
The Bond County Core community exists to end poverty. Since it began in 2020, 37 graduates have increased income, decreased debt, and lowered their dependence on government assistance substantially. For more information see the June 13, 2023 edition of The Greenville Advocate.
