The Rev. Curtis Flake, pastor of both the Greenville First United Methodist Church and the Mulberry Grove United Methodist Church, has delivered his last sermon to the local congregation. He and his family are packing to move 20 miles east where Flake will assume the leadership of the Vandalia United Methodist Church on July 1.
Flake has pastored in Greenville for six years; before that, he served in Catlin and Pleasant Grove. For more information see the June 16, 2023 edition of The Greenville Advocate.
