Mulberry Grove village board meets, hears complaints

The Mulberry Grove village board met Monday, approved the minutes for the April regular meeting, as well as special meetings on April 12, 19, and 26. They also approved the financial report and the May bills to be paid, including the amount of $2,806.80 to Credential and $3,804.38 to DC Waste.

Brad Criner gave the building inspector’s report. In April, one building permit was issued. There are currently 10 active files, five pending court actions, and three active building permits.

During the mayor’s report, Mayor Cherie Henson said that they had discussed getting police and code enforcement officer Barbara Wheat a debit card, which their lawyer informed them they were allowed to do. For more information see the May 5, 2023 edition of The Greenville Advocate.
