The Illinois Department of Transportation announces that bridge repairs on Illinois 127 will require lane closures with signals at the bridge over Flat Branch Creek near Walcott Road in Clinton County, beginning, weather permitting, Monday, April 17.
The lane closures will be in place until early July. Motorists should expect delays and are encouraged to use alternate routes during this closure.
Drivers are urged to reduce speed, be alert for changing conditions, obey all construction signage, and refrain from using mobile devices while approaching and traveling through the work zone.
